Calling all BC learners! To celebrate our 30th year of bringing BC agriculture to BC students and Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month (CALM) we are launching a March Agriculture Literacy Challenge.

Schools can register from October 18 to December 14, 2022 to participate in the 2023 BCAITC Harvest Bin Project program.

Celebrate Canada’s Agriculture Day! Enjoy FREE cooking lessons with Chef Trevor Randle and learn about BC foods and agriculture with webinars held on Wednesday, February 15. Chef Randle will provide expert instruction with two online cooking demonstrations:

Attend the Surrey Teachers' Association 2023 STA Convention on May 5, 2023 and learn about agriculture and food with a workshop presented by BCAITC's Education Specialist, Holly Johnson.

Attend the THESA Conference on October 20, 2023, and learn about agriculture and food.

Attend the Okanagan Zonal Conference on February 16, 2024, and learn about agriculture and food with a workshop presented by BCAITC's staff member.

We are excited to announce that the 2024 Summer Institute course (EDCP 329 – Agriculture In the Curriculum) will take place from July 15 to 19, 2024 in-person in Abbotsford.
