We are excited to announce that the 2024 Summer Institute course (EDCP 329 – Agriculture In the Curriculum) will take place from July 15 to 19, 2024 in-person in Abbotsford.
July 16 - 18 Flowers and Pollinators
Ages: 8 - 12 years old
Activities: Seeding Florals, Love the Bees, Flower Arranging and Medicine Wheel
Attend the Agassiz Research and Development Centre Open House on July 20, 2024, and learn about agriculture and food with BCAITC's Program and Events Coordinator, Tina Evans.
July 23 - 25 Greens, Beans and Tomatoes
Ages: 5 - 10 years old
Activities: Soil and Plant Food, Raised Beds, Greenhouse and Agri-tech
Aug 13 - 15 Fun in the Sun!
Ages: 8 - 12 years old
Activities: Solar Power and Photosynthesis, Medicine Wheel, Water Play (water balloons & slip and slide)
Aug 20 - 22 Harvest Season
Ages: 6 - 12 years old
Activities: Exploring Herbs, Seed Saving, Veggies Galore
