Apple season is almost upon us, and boy do we love apples in BC! For teachers that want to extend their love of apples into the classroom we have a unit titled ABC - Apples in British Columbia that's sure to be a tasty way to learn about our most popular fall fruit.

The variety of lessons in this Unit will open students’ eyes to the wonder of the most valuable edible horticulture crop in BC: apples. This resource explores connections between personal health, sustainable agriculture and the health of the planet all while showing students the importance of choosing locally grown food. For grades 6-9.
