In this lesson plan, students will compare and contrast the similarities and differences of the chicken digestive system to a human digestive system. Using hands-on models, students will explore how chickens pick up food in their beaks, store food in a crop, break down food into smaller pieces without teeth, and eliminate waste at the
end of digestion.
