A Race Around the Strawberry Patch Board Game

In this lesson, students will learn about the strawberry, including uses and significance of the fruit by First Peoples, by playing an interactive board game all about strawberries. As an extension, students will be able to create their own strawberry-themed questions to add to the game.

Materials:

• Electronic devices to access the internet
• PowerPoint: A Race Around The Strawberry Patch Board
• Game Dice and tokens (optional)
• Student handouts: A Race Around The Strawberry Patch Game Board and A Race Around The Strawberry Patch Game Cards (optional)
