Join us, Agriculture in the Classroom Canada and our provincial member organizations on an unforgettable journey with Season 6 of our Great Canadian Farm Tour (GCFT) coming this fall! From October to December 2026, take part in virtual LIVE farm tours across Canada.  Everyone is welcome to participate—whether you’re a classroom teacher, homeschool educator, student, family, learning group, or simply curious about agriculture, however, the tours are targeted at kindergarten to Grade 6.

LEARN about Canada’s exciting agriculture and food story! CONNECT and interact virtually with real farmers on their OWN farms, and EXPERIENCE what it’s like on a real farm in your home province!

This unique learning opportunity will inspire your students, ignite their curiosity and teach them about the important role agriculture plays in their lives, EVERYDAY!

British Columbia Tour: Hazelnuts

Get ready to explore hazelnut production in British Columbia on October 1!

Join BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation for a virtual LIVE farm tour and discover how hazelnuts are grown and produced right here in BC. Participants will have the opportunity to see agriculture in action, learn from farmers, and connect what they are learning in the classroom to real-world agriculture.

  • November 26 at 11:45am ET – Beef in Newfoundland with AITC-NL
  • December 2 at 12:30pm ET – Strawberries in Manitoba with AITC-M
