We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of our  Fresh For Less fundraiser! With the support of our community, we raised over $11,000 and utilized an impressive 7,500 lbs of fresh, local produce to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Here’s how it all came together:

500 lbs of produce donated — Thanks to our amazing supporters, we distributed produce to food-insecure families in the community and to some schools in Abbotsford with higher needs.

7,000 lbs of produce sold out — Through pre-event online sales and our bustling booth at the Abbotsford Winter Jubilee, every last pound of produce found a home!

Proceeds from the Fresh For Less fundraiser go directly toward supporting agricultural education in BC schools, inspiring the next generation of agricultural leaders. Each purchase fuels hands-on learning opportunities for students while also promoting sustainability within our local farming community.
 

This year’s event also underscored the importance of supporting BC’s local farmers. By choosing local produce, supporters helped sustain the agricultural community while filling their homes with fresh, nutritious produce.
