BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) is proud to celebrate Chef Trevor Randle’s recent participation at Whistler’s prestigious Cornucopia event. Held amidst the breathtaking mountain backdrop, Cornucopia is a celebration of culinary excellence and local ingredients, making it the perfect stage for Chef Randle to showcase the finest BC has to offer.

At Cornucopia, Chef Randle continued his commitment to promoting fresh, local ingredients, sharing insights into sustainable farming practices and the role of culinary arts in strengthening local food systems.

Chef Randle joined forces with Andrea van Iterson, a passionate beef rancher from the BC Cattlemen’s Association to highlight the versatility and quality of BC beef. Together, they took the audience on a culinary journey, preparing four exquisite dishes while sparking meaningful conversations about local farming and the importance of culinary education.

It was a true privilege to share the culinary stage with Andrea van Iterson of Westwood View Farms and the BC Cattlemen’s Society showcasing BC beef at Whistler’s Cornucopia,” said Chef Randle. “In front of a packed house, we not only cooked and served recipes highlighting so many amazing BC foods, but we also had remarkable discussions with the audience about local farming and culinary arts education. It was an unforgettable night!
