BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC), a dynamic non-profit charitable organization in agriculture education, is seeking an Education Specialist to join our team! This role can be either part-time or full-time, offering a unique opportunity to enhance agricultural literacy in British Columbia.
The Education Specialist works with teachers, administrators, and our staff team to develop new teaching tools, curriculum, programs and a variety of lessons in agriculture and food. BCAITC works with all schools and teachers in the province including public, independent , First Nations and home schools. Both classroom and agriculture experience are important for the position. The Education Specialist will also represent the organization at professional development day workshops and in lesson plan facilitation and delivery.
