Bringing Agriculture Education to Life at the Pacific Agriculture Show
The Pacific Agriculture Show 2025 was a huge success, bringing together industry leaders, educators, and students to celebrate the future of agriculture in British Columbia. BCAITC was proud to be part of this premier event, sharing our educational resources, engaging with attendees, and showcasing how we inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.
From January 25 to 27, our booth at the Pacific Agriculture Show was a hub of activity, where visitors learned about our hands-on programs, curriculum resources, and exciting opportunities for students. Our team connected with passionate educators looking to integrate agriculture into their classrooms, as well as industry professionals eager to support the next generation.
We were excited to highlight the BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional Program, which provides fresh, local produce to schools, fostering healthy eating habits among students. Additionally, Farm Explorer BC took center stage at our booth, showcasing our map resource that features over 500 farms across the province. This tool helps educators and students connect with local agriculture, explore farm experiences in their region, and learn about the vital role farms play in BC’s communities and economy.
Other highlights of the event were the interactive conversations we had with teachers, students, and agricultural experts about the importance of ag education. We also shared insights into programs like Spuds in Tubs, Planting a Promise, and Take a Bite of BC, which continue to make a lasting impact on students across the province.
Adding to the excitement, our Plinko board was a huge hit! Attendees had a blast dropping tokens and winning fun prizes while learning more about BC agriculture. The game was a great way to engage visitors and spark conversations about farming and food education.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and supported BCAITC’s mission to bring agriculture into BC classrooms. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!
